"You must love the Lord your God with all your heart, all your soul, and all your mind. This is the first and greatest commandment. A second is equally important: 'Love your neighbor as yourself.'" – Matthew 22:37-39 (NLT)
Day 1: Shame –Breaking the Chains of Yesterday
Scripture: Romans 8:1 – "There is therefore now no condemnation to those who are in
Christ Jesus..."
Devotion: Shame is a liar dressed in your memories. It keeps replaying the mistakes, the regrets, the wounds, making you question your worth. But the Gospel is not about condemnation—it’s about redemption. God isn’t stuck in your past, so why are you?
To love yourself is to let grace speak louder than guilt.
Practice: Write down three things you are no longer ashamed of.
Speak out loud: "I am not who I was—I am who He is making me."
☐ I completed today’s practice.

Prayer: Lord, today I release the chains of shame. Help me walk in the freedom of Your
forgiveness. I receive Your grace over my history and choose to love myself forward. Amen.
